If you work with clients internationally with different currencies, it is best to leave your own settings to the currency that you work in and look to change the currency per client.
Setting up your default Currency
You can change the currency in your Personalisation Settings (using the cog, top right-hand side). This will become the default currency throughout Mercury.
Setting up a Client's Currency
When creating a new client, clicking the Administration tab will show the default currency set to your user account. From here, you can change the Currency type, if your client operates in a different currency.
All Vacancies created will then default to the currency set in this field. In turn all linked records, including both Shortlists and Placements, will contain the same currency. At any time these can be manually updated from any of the currency fields.
Any existing client record can be updated/changed using the same method. Access any Client Record > click the Administration tab > Go to Currency > Select a new Currency from the list > Click Save and Close.
