Retained Vacancies will be added as Permanent roles.

Toggle Yes to show that the role is Retained:
 


In the Financials section of the General tab. The Fee Based On field can be capture that this role will be based on 'Staged' Fees:
 


Both the Fee% or Permanent Fee amount fields can also be used.
 

Applying Staged Fees

If you are using Fees within Mercury to add Fees and have them approved, then the Staged fees can either be added to an Agreement and then linked to the Vacancy or adding directly to the Vacancy manually.


Applying Staged Fees Manually

Once the Fee Based On field has been changed to Staged and the record has been saved, an additional section below the Financials will be displayed. This section is called Fees. From here, fees can be added to the Vacancy.
 


Select Add Existing Fee. It will take you to the Fee record:


Name the Fee, give it a Due Date and select the correct Invoice Address.

If you are running this to be approved by your Finance team, click on the Request Approval icon.

This will change the status of the Fee from 'Pending' to 'To Be Issued'.
 



To view any Fees linked to the Vacancy, click on the Related tab. There is a Fees option.
 

To manage your Fees, use the Fees menu in the left-hand tool bar.
