Email Limitations is a tool whereby a rule can be set to only allow a maximum number of sales emails sent to a contact in a given period. The fields relating to this are found on the Further Information tab on the Contact record:
An example of where to use it
It is common for your business to send mailshots from the Mercury Search to either your candidates or client contacts. If you do not wish for them to receive more than 3 emails each within one month for example, then this is where you would use Email Limitations.
This tool would have been shown at the start of the project. If you are interested in setting up this function, please speak to your internal System Administrator.
NOTE: This function is for sales emails/mailshots only. When we say 'Sales emails' we mean emails that are sent in the mode of being 'Multiple'. Emails sent from Mercury Search and Hotlists are defaulted to be Multiple. Emails sent on a contact to that individual will be defaulted to Single, however, they can be changed to Multiple if required.
