A new Activity Type of Update has been included for the generic capture of updates to any activity-enabled record.
The Update activity can be added from the Quick Create menu and any activity-enabled record.
To add an Update from the Quick Create menu, click on + > Activities > Update
The Quick Create: Update form will open. The only mandatory field is Subject.
For data integrity, it is advised to enter the Purpose of the Update.
The Purpose list links to your existing Activity Purposes. New Purposes can be created to support Updates where required.
Please enter a Regarding, this can be a Client, Contact or Candidate :
Once you have entered the relevant fields, click on Save and Close.
This Update activity will be available on the Timeline of the Regarding record.
The Update Activity can also be added from Client, Contacts and Candidate records by clicking on the + in the Timeline.
