Views:
Located on a Contact and Client record, you will find the Timeline in the centre.
 
The Timeline houses Tasks. 
 
Navigate to a Contact record or Client record that you wish to create the task against.
 
Tasks are added the same way for both record types. 
 
 
 
 
In the Timeline of the form, click + and Task
 
 
 
 
The Quick Create: Task will open. 
 
Complete the relevant information and click Save and Close.
 
If you are using the Dynamics Outlook App, Tasks will auto-synchronise with Outlook.
 
 
 
 
Tasks can then be seen directly within the Timeline.
 
 
 
 
You have the options to Assign to another user, Complete, Add to queue, Open Record and Delete:
 
 
 
You can also find your Tasks in the Activities menu.
 
Use the filter to sort by Activity Type - Task.
 
 
 
 
You'll then see the Task you created in the list.
