Introduction to the new Candidate Portal

The brand new Candidate Portal is now available!

You can now upgrade to the eagerly anticipated Version 2 of the Candidate Portal. A great new interface making the user experience delightfully slick and easy to get to all your favourite and most used features.

Version 2 is a web-based portal, as was v1, where Candidates can submit key information for Recruiters, and therefore prospective employers, quickly and efficiently. Placements can then be started on time, along with all the necessary legal requirements to ensure Recruiters are able to process all Compliance and Billing tasks quickly and effectively.

As a result of having carefully assessed lots of customer feedback and ideas, we at Mercury have listened and have redesigned the Portal to make ease-of-use top priority, even for those users with little or no experience of using web pages. All the components which make up the overall user interface have also been painstakingly redesigned, to make it an attractive application for all visitors.

Clients also have the option to rebrand the Portal with their own credentials - e.g. your own organisation's logo - for a great professional look. See the image below which displays the key areas which can be changed on the main screen: 

Candidates can access the Portal from a web browser and even from their internet-connected mobile phone

Here is a quick summary of what Candidates can do:

• Update their personal details.

• Update contact methods - users can choose whether to be contacted via sales emails, normal emails, phone calls or text messages.

• Employment preferences can be set up, such as Availability, Notice Period, Type of Vacancy - e.g. Permanent, Contractor, Temp - and salary details.

• Enter their profile and background details.

• Manage their data consents.

• Provide compliance evidence - e.g. Visa, Passport, other ID.
