This article explains how to overcome a CV Preview on-screen message that can sometimes appear when trying to view Candidate CVs.
Where
Home > Contacts > select your View > click into a Contact record > click the Experience tab
How
1. Users can sometimes be faced with an on-screen message when trying to view the CV under the Experience tab:
The message reads: To start seeing previews, please log on by opening the document.
2. The message may arise due to the user account not being authenticated with SharePoint. Users will need to click on the hyperlink part of the message, which then opens the CV in SharePoint - see below:
3. Once this is done one time only, then when the user tries viewing the CV again in the Experience tab, then it will always work from that point onwards, as the SharePoint authentication has now been established.
