Views:

What

In our newest release (v30) we have updated the Forms used across the CRM for Client, Contacts, Vacancies and Placements. With the introduction of new Tabs, new Fields and rearrangement of information, see below for a breakdown of the changes to each new Form.

 

Where

Swap between the current User Client Interface (UCI) and the new Forms using the drop-down menu. Here's an example from a Vacancy:
 

 

Clients

  • New Form is called Mercury Account.
     
  • General tab now includes the number of Live Vacancies and Live Placements, and the Date/Time they were last updated. 
  • New Contacts tab now includes (Client) Contacts, Connections with the Client and Candidate Contacts. Under Contacts there are two new Views > Client Contacts Active and Client Contacts I Own
     
  • New Recruiting tab encompasses Vacancies, Info and Placement details. Info can also be viewed under Related > Info tab. Colour coding on Status Reason fields makes it easier to grasp information at a glance. 
     
    • Vacancies
       
      • Two new additional Views: My Active Vacancies and My Closed Vacancies
         
    • Placements
       
      • Two new Views > All Placements and Inactive Placements
         
  • Skills & Tags are now two separate tabs. Find them under Related > Skills sought and Related > Tags.
     
  • Tags are now visible within the Company Information tab. For example, add Tags to a Client Contact concerning: Discipline, Function, Client Status, etc. Tags can also be viewed (with additional Views) from the Related > Tags tab. 

 

Contacts 

  • New Form is called Mercury Contact.
     
  • Candidate tab is renamed from As a Candidate.
     
    • Candidate screening information
       
      • View associated Shortlists, Applications and Placements.
         
      • Under Shortlists there are two new Views: Shortlist on related Vacancy and Inactive Shortlists.
         
      • Colour coding on Status Reason fields makes it easier to grasp information at a glance.
         
    • Contact options
       
      • Toggle between Phone Calls, Emails and Appointments in a List View. New Activities can also be added directly from this tab.
         
  • Client Contact tab is renamed from As a Client Contact. View job details (Vacancies, Connected Vacancies, Placements) and details on Contact with the Client (Phone Calls, Emails, Appointments).
     
    • Vacancies
       
      • Two new additional Views: Live vacancies with statistics and My Closed Vacancies.
         
    • Placements
       
      • New fields: Original End Date, Actual End Date, Status and Created On. 
         
  • Within the Further Information tab, you can now specify the Preferred Language for the Contact.

 

Vacancies 

  • New Form is called Mercury Vacancy
     
  • New Basic Info tab consolidates the information previously found in General and Skills & Tags. This tab now also includes a Timeline to track any Activities associated with the Vacancy (e.g. Email, Phone Call, Tasks, etc.)
     
  • New Details tab contains Advert Details (e.g. Internal, Email description, Job Board Summary), Tags and Additional Information about the Vacancy record (e.g. Key Account User, Discipline, Lead From, etc.)
     
  • Candidates tab now includes the Hiring Manager Name and the Number of positions. Additionally, view Shortlists, Applicants and Placements all in one place. Under Shortlists there are two new Views: Active In Progress and Inactive or Rejected
     
  • Custom Fields is the new name for the User Fields tab.


Placements

  • New Form is called Mercury Placement
     
  • Basic Info tab is renamed from Placement Details and now includes Ownership details. Calculated (monetary) values are now found within the new Finance tab.
     
  • Finance tab (shows in Contract and Temporary roles) includes details about Legal Entities, Gross Profit and details Terms (e.g. Pay, Hours, On-Costs, Margin Values, etc.). Additionally, toggle between Placement Rates, Fees and Purchase Orders in a List View.
     
  • Compliance tab now includes the ability to toggle between Compliance and Onboarding evidence lists. 
     
  • Under Timesheets & Expenses (shows in Contract and Temporary roles), new fields are used for Timesheets > Parent Rate, Rate Type, Charge and Charge Currency, Pay and Pay Currency, Pay to Candidate, Bill to End Client and Placement Lookup. 
     
  • Documents tab has been moved out of the Relational drop-down menu into the main ribbon for easier access. After a Placement is validated, paperwork can be issued to the Client or the Candidate. Additionally, a new View has been added: Document Associated Grid
     
  • For Contract roles, the Expenses tab has been moved out of the Relational drop-down menu into the main ribbon for easier access.
